Colorado Adoption Consultants provides a twelve hour CORE training which covers
topics mandated by the State for adoptive parents. These include but are not limited to:
attachment; grief and loss; adoption through the lifespan; development stages; medical
issues; parenting and discipline; race and culture.
We are equipped to train large groups of 16 - 50 people. Colorado Adoption
Consultants also provides in-home training sessions for smaller groups of 10 - 15 people .
This twelve hour class typically takes place on a Friday evening and all day Saturday. We
also offer this training to groups who prefer attending during the week by dividing it into
three, four hour classes.
